This is how the new coca-cola bottle will look like in 2013 !

The new coke bottles will be square, stackable, and more recyclable. They maximize space, and are designed to reduce our carbon footprint.

NICE. Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?

    ReplyDelete
  8. The shape makes it look nastier.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Its Not Going to Fit in a Cup Holder, But it still is cool.

    ReplyDelete
  10. omg that bottle is so gay!

    ReplyDelete
  11. cup holders are.. round?

    ReplyDelete
  12. that is retarded, GO PEPSI!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. not bad buttt i think it might cause hand cramp holding a big square object in hands for a while ??

    ReplyDelete
  14. That looks so gayyyyyyyyy ahahah

    ReplyDelete
  15. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID WHEN I FIRST SAW IT!
IT JUST CAME RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH WITH NO CONTROL!....

    "AWESOME!!!!!!"

    ReplyDelete
  16. was the designer on crack when he made tht?
coz it looks like shit in a cube.

    ReplyDelete
  17. ...The hell is this?

    ReplyDelete
  18. name 1 person who actually gives a shit about our carbon footprint. *hint hint* not coca cola

    ReplyDelete
  19. If they wanted to make it an optimal design to fit space, they would have made it more square.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Will it come with grip?

    ReplyDelete
  21. it is pretty kool and I am looking forward to seeing it on shelves.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This changes everything

    THUMBS UP!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. yeah thats sick and all but i guess its a just a marking saying we lived through 2012 lol

    ReplyDelete
  24. HOW IS IT GOING TO FIT IN CUP HOLDERS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  25. ur stupid if uy think these are stupidJune 11, 2010 at 6:53 AM

all of you are stupid, the auto industry will sell attachable cupholders that are square, or they'll make the bottle tall and skinny to fit in a cupholder, duh!!that is amazing cuz it stacks unlike round bottles

    ReplyDelete
  26. might be able to get square cup holders to lmao idk maybe all drinks will follow n drinks will all b square

    ReplyDelete
  27. 2 things: if this is how they wanna waste their money, go ahead. PEPSI RULES!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I wonder if has the same taste in 2013 :P

    ReplyDelete
  29. ugly, really ugly

    ReplyDelete
  30. Fake... the pressurized carbonate in soft drink (a.k.a soda a.k.a pop) will result in a square container such as this bulging, and a greater amount of spoilage due to breakage during shipping, this would increase the cost of coca cola to produce, which drives up the price for you, the consumer. Not a smart design, and its flaws are well known to those in the carbonated beverage industry.

    ReplyDelete
  31. those are beasstttt. how would they fit them in the box tho lol... oh crap that means more cardboard and less trees. =[

    ReplyDelete
  32. that shit is sweet

    ReplyDelete
  33. oh no.. i cant hold that! i have small hands:P im only twelwe

    ReplyDelete
  34. Maximize space? A circle has a way bigger areal than a square...

    ReplyDelete
  35. WILL IT FIT IN MY CIRCLE, NOPE CUS ITS SQUARE, COKE IS FOR SQUARES

    ReplyDelete
  36. D: nooooooooooooo it looks to umm arty :(

    ReplyDelete
  37. I LIKE THE BOTTLE WE ALREADY HAVE

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm sure the whole cupholder thing isn't a major issue dears. They CAN designer new ones, or it might be small enough to fit in a round one. It's cool that it's stackable and all, but it's not very ergonomic.

    ReplyDelete
  39. ummm its kinda obvious its fake... coke is not that retarded with its marketing. if it wants to go for environmentally friendly, they can get a licence to use the Nestle Eco Bottle design, or develop their own. In fact, the bottle above is less environmentally friendly than their current. If they really wanted to make it Eco-Friendly, a rounder bottle would use less plastic, but the fact that it isn't easy to hold would turn some customers away from it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. see nobody has yet asked the question...i wonder how high it would be possible to get a tower of coke bottles????

    ReplyDelete
  41. Probably really high...but you know, the Fiji water bottles are square. Sooo...it was only a matter of time for other brands of drinks to follow suit. My square fiji bottles fit in my circular cup holder. It's all about how you position it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. good thing i don't drink coke products lol

    ReplyDelete
  43. this is all a lie. this design is from some students project on sustainable marketing

    ReplyDelete
  44. oooohhh i like it! =D

    ReplyDelete
  45. that is giggidy giggidy green!

    ReplyDelete
  46. just a fake , it would lack a firm grip especially when its condensated at the side so it would just slip away

    ReplyDelete
  47. i like it but i'll miss the old bottle :(

    ReplyDelete
  48. my first thought was:

    "what the fuck is that?!?!?!"
haha, i have no idea how the suare is gonna work ? it's just gonna be a square peg in a round cup holder..it ain't gonna work!

    ReplyDelete
  49. i like it...but my cupholders are round...and the last time i checked, a square can NOT fit in a circle...sooo...yeah...are they gonna start making square cupholders?!

    ReplyDelete
  50. It's beautiful *O*

    ReplyDelete
  51. how is th square bottle going to fit in a round cup holder?

    ReplyDelete
  52. mmmmmmm...not sure looks pretty crap to be honest!

    ReplyDelete
  53. cup holders are now obsolete :(

    ReplyDelete
  54. Of course it will fit in cup holders!! Not everything is round. I have put square cups in my round cup holder. As long as the square bottle isn't larger than the cup holder. And most new cars have specific cup holders that kind of form to the bottle so it grips it, mine do that. So I'm not worried about it. I like the design it different. Don't you guys remember before they changed the shape of the coca cola boxes to fit in the fridge better? We all thought it looked weird at first too. But much better.

    ReplyDelete
  55. bull shit....if this happens sooo many things are gonna have 2 change. ( cost, shipping, vending machines, cupholder, etc.)

    ReplyDelete
  56. YOu guys are retarded, its not going to be the real one, sheeesh

    ReplyDelete
  57. Stupid! Just...gay

    ReplyDelete
  58. has anyone noticed that everything new, and cool looking, is comming out in 2013, the year after the world is supposedly going to end???

    ReplyDelete
  59. it could def stack without making it SQUARE. these things will need handles

    ReplyDelete
  60. must be fake.
it would not be on a blog.and the trademarked coca cola label would be somewhere

    ReplyDelete
  61. i kinda like it but the origanal is way better its classic

    ReplyDelete
  62. That is so cool!!!!! Is there spot in the bottom to where u can stack another one on top or underneath it?

    ReplyDelete
  63. This is a Freshman student's idea. There is no actual proof that Coca Cola will be using this idea. His name is Andrew Kim and he designed this bottle to be eco friendly. Not only is it stackable it is also collapsable. After you are done drinking it, it easily collapses into a smaller size easier for recycling. I think it would be neat if this idea was actually used though. I think the design is nice looking at it would be nice to have something different looking. And it's Eco Friendly!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I just did some more research, I posted the "it's a freshman's idea above". Anyway. This was a semester project he did. He knows that it can't be actually used as is. There are issues that may or may not be able to be fixed. It was a school project. It is a very good idea and he is a very smart man. We need more people who think like him. Even if this doesn't work at least he is thinking outside the box.

This is not going to be the new design. It looks great, but wouldn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  65. ya yay were saving the planet but if its such a big deal y not start now? duh big companies dont care. and if cars make new cupholders wont this just b more work? more money? ya nice idea but come 2013 people will have more problems with it

    ReplyDelete
  66. yes and instead of 99cents it will be 2.99

    ReplyDelete
  67. boo im not drinking a square..>.> "Even if this doesn't work at least he is thinking outside the box." tecnacaly its out of the box

    ReplyDelete
  68. fancy :D I like it a lot... But it will probably dont come to Norway:(

    ReplyDelete
  69. There gunna have to make new cup holders in 2013!! :O

    ReplyDelete
  70. cup holders are ROUND right? how the hell are these going to fit in the cup holders! >_>
although it looks pretty! :D...its not gonna work out v_v

    ReplyDelete
  71. none of these bottles will fir in a cup holder!

    ReplyDelete
  72. on the bright side theyll fit in icecube containers.

    ReplyDelete
  73. The can is all these things already tho :S

    ReplyDelete
  74. y'all are all dumb.. a square can fit in a circle cup holder as long as the edges touch the cup holder! learn math!

    ReplyDelete
  75. i thikn it is pretty freaken awesome, we need changessss and thts pretty boss

    ReplyDelete
  76. but cup holders are round? why would they do it. seems like a dumb idea

    ReplyDelete
  77. haha.. we wont have to worry about it fitting in the cup holders since the world is ending in 2012...

    ReplyDelete
  78. This shall never be made.
Cause we are all gonna die in 2012. :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. why 2013? why not now?

    ReplyDelete
  80. wont fit in my cupholder...im drinkin pepsi

    ReplyDelete
  81. okay, it stacks sure, but when have you ever had to stack a coke? and even if it's skinny enought to fit in a cup holder, it will fall because it's TOO skinny... duh

    ReplyDelete
  82. so will like all of the other soda bottles be like this too? or is it just coke? it is too tall and too skinny. i bet it is like alot less volume inside of it then there is in the bottle that we have now, but i still like it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. i guess if all population on the earth dies in 2012, we don't have to worry about squares cups fitting into circle cupholders, now do we?

*P.S. IF THE SQUARE IS LITTLER THEN THE CIRCLE CUPHOLDER, WE'LL BE FINE....IT WILL FIT!!!!!!*

    ReplyDelete
  84. That actually would be cool if it is real! :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. That looks pretty awesome, but cup-holders WILL have to be changed

    ReplyDelete
  86. Im pretty sure cup holders will change by then , so stop whining little bitches .

    ReplyDelete
  87. thts freaking AWESOMEE!! (:

    ReplyDelete
  88. I don't think that cup holders will change in three years, and even if they did there are plenty of earlier models we're all still probably going to be using unless this oil spill continues and all oil drills epically fail. And honestly I don't think that's going to happen. Also, I like the bottle now because it actually fits in my hand, and isn't like extremely long. Plus it will probably cost more even though it's made to cost the company less. But whatever, we can't make them change their minds. It doesn't seem like it will really be more "green", just more economically fitting for them to package, transport, and sell more at a higher price for being "green."

    ReplyDelete
  89. OMG i know y they're making it square..... because in 2012 life as we know it WILL change forever............. theyll invent square cup holders

    ReplyDelete
  90. and also this site is three hours behind

    ReplyDelete
  91. nice design, but it will be so expensive a 600ml coke will go from $3.50 to $4.50 just to get the funds for this design

    ReplyDelete
  92. design is kinda cool, but when has anyone ever needed to stack their coke bottle? other than in shops, but if they are tall and thin so that they can fit into cup holders, then if they are stacked, they will just be knocked over. Both in a shop and in a car.

    ReplyDelete
  93. dam that SO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL and awsoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOME cool awsome

    ReplyDelete
  94. the bottle that is out now has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the user's hand. This design doesnt seem to take the user into consideration. the design is mainly focussed on stacking.

    ReplyDelete
  95. THIS DESIGN LOOKS LIKE SHIT I HATE IT I LIKE THE ONE WE HAVE NOW I SAY WE NEED TO KEEP IT

    ReplyDelete
  96. fuck coca cola always worried about the enviroment. they're do damn mainsteam trying to "fit in" and "appeal to the buyer". you're doing it wrong, coca cola. shame.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Um honestly ppl you guys are crazy... Its Fucken coke for cryin out loud .Its SO NOT that big of deal

    ReplyDelete
  98. I like it.
    but it's a fake.

and also, those people saying it's not environmentally friendly cause it's square.
where there does it say it's make from plastic?

    ReplyDelete
  99. dudee!!!! these are sweeeeeeeet

    ReplyDelete
  100. I am afraid not, they keep the same look because it is classic, thats why the 2 liter is going back to the old look

    ReplyDelete
  101. cool, glad to see people who are high in the business world care about the environment, even if it's to appeal to the consumer, hopefully that will fit in cup holders, lol

    ReplyDelete
  102. way to go pooh bear

    ReplyDelete
  103. how will it fit in a cup holder!?!?!?!?!?!?

    ReplyDelete
  104. hey wheres spongebob!!???

    ReplyDelete
  105. =D luv it

    ReplyDelete
  106. yeah its cool, but OMG the world wud have ended!!!

    ReplyDelete
  107. if u were gonna rip the label off some drunks would mistake it for wisky get pissed on coke!!!!!!!!!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  108. uhmmm square bottles.. for our round cupholders. great. hah.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Uh ^ try putting a sqaure cup in a round cup holder! It fits! I think its a new and unique idea, if yall don't like it, don't drink it! Who said it was even gonna be used? And yea its kinda stupid if they invented it don't you think they would use it now, not after the world is supposably gonna end!?! Gosh they want positive comments! Keep the rude ones to your self! I personally think its a wonderful idea and they should use it! Now even! (:

    ReplyDelete
  110. thats the most retarded design ever its just a block, the old bottle design is where its at, nothing can compare to that

    ReplyDelete
  111. Immagine getting hit by one of those on the points :P

    ReplyDelete
  112. it looks stupid.
thumbs up for helping the environment.
thumbs down for the over all design. who cares if you can stack it?

    ReplyDelete
  113. it looks like gasoline or starter fluid or something.

    ReplyDelete
  114. wtf? gay. hows an eleven year old supposed to hold that?!

    ReplyDelete
  115. like the way it looks. hate that cup holders are round and it wont fit!!!

    ReplyDelete
  116. WHAT THE HELL? HOW THE **** IS THIS GOING TO FIT IN MY CUP HOLDER?????

    ReplyDelete
  117. THAT IS SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!! WHO THE HELL WOULDN'T LIKE THESE!!!!!!!!!!!! ANYONE WHO ISN'T IS GAY!!!!!!!!!!!IT'S AMAZING THEY CAN STACK ON TOP OF EACH OTHER THATS SO FREAKING KOOL!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  118. how r they going to fit in cup holders

    ReplyDelete
  119. it look gay,y do we even have to change the bottle?!?! i like the current one.....

    ReplyDelete
  120. They Look Sexy!!

    ReplyDelete
  121. it makes me want to do dirty sexual things to myslef with it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  122. im a cocacola fanatic. they would never do this. the reason they have a copyright for their contour bottle is for product recognition! everyone knows the bottle to be a coke bottle even without the label! look at their commercials, its always a contour bottle! thats what theyve been know for since 1916!

    ReplyDelete
  123. I'm pretty sure that a cylindrical form would be more stable than a square one. Sure, its easier to stack, but that doesn't make it any better^^ I'm going with "Thumbs down" for now, until they figured out a way to make this work OR realise that cylindrical objects are indeed more useful when it comes to being stable...

    ReplyDelete
  124. 'm pretty sure that I'm going with "Thumbs up" now, until they figured out a way to make this work OR realise that cylindrical objects are not more useful when it comes to not being stable...

    ReplyDelete
  125. do u recon yu could fuck it up the ass, because its got a hole in the bottem?

    ReplyDelete
  126. omg. some of the people posting r kinds dumb. someone asked"when do you need to stack a coke bottle?". its not us that have to stack its the company. it would save soooooo much space in the boxes, meaning you could fit more on a ship. and that means less ships. less ships = less pollution and fuel. i shouldn't have to spell it out. when you think about it, it would fit in cup holders. it is taller and skinnier that others, but not too skinny. most cup holders these days have little groves in the bottom to keep ur cup secure, so it wouldn't fall. ands its not as if we NEED grip or CAN'T drink out of A different bottle, if you are that closed-minded, you suck. we fill out lives with unneccesary objects, when this is 10 times more practical. even if it doesn't work, i commend the designer. for those of with petty arguments like "i need grip" i am disgusted. we are humans. we can hold a bottle without dropping it. be realistic.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Its called set it in your lap lazy morons.

    ReplyDelete
  128. It'll fit in your cupholder fine... Its obviously taller than the bottles we have atm therefore it'll be skinnier. They'll fit fine, trust me.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Wow.........you people must really get bored to make such a big deal over a coke bottle!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Looks cool, now will Dr. Pepper hurry up and steal it so I can try it out. Coke is disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  131. this is fuckin retarted

    ReplyDelete
  132. ewwww , i hate the style !

    ReplyDelete
  133. no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. That is all

    ReplyDelete
  134. um...i don't see the point, Coke bottles have looked pretty much the same from the very beginning, why fix what isn't broken? But to all of you saying 'my hand will cramp holding a square for very long' and 'that won't fit in my cup holder' uh, Fiji Water is in a square bottle and it fits fine in my cup holders and it's not uncomfortable for me to hold it, and I have arthritis in my hands

    ReplyDelete
  135. we all will be dead by then

    ReplyDelete
  136. if they start making square cup holders then it will be cool

    ReplyDelete
  137. Why the fuck are we planning our fucking coke bottle designs for 2013?? Wow, what a great use of time. Shows how much actual work is done by the bastards who work at that place.

    ReplyDelete
  138. uhh,, why would we need to stack the coke bottles in the first place?

    ReplyDelete
  139. I suggest we go back to the ol' glass bottles. :]

    ReplyDelete
  140. too bad we wont be making it to 2013

    ReplyDelete
  141. for those who said it wont fit in a cup holder... it will. just not perfectly, as long as its not to big of a square it will fit. use your head ppl.

    ReplyDelete
  142. why are they waiting until 2013?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Okay, I am very contradicted. On one hand, I am extremely happy that it will be beter for the environment. On another hand, holding a square bottle would hurt. XD
...Are we not able to stack cylindrical bottles anyway?!?

    ReplyDelete
  144. GAYYYYYY! i miss round bottles already

    ReplyDelete
  145. woah cool thats amazing

    ReplyDelete
  146. awsome we will see it cuz there is no such thing as 2012

    ReplyDelete
  147. How does it save the environment? Seems to me that it would use more plastic to make it square....

    ReplyDelete
  148. woah this is so cool. i actually wish they would do it sooner than 2013!

    ReplyDelete
  149. thats freakin hella awesome !!!!

    ReplyDelete
  150. EXCELLENT BRING IT TO 2010!~!~!

    ReplyDelete
  151. i bet u ten dollers that their not going to do it

    ReplyDelete
  152. uhh wtf it would be embarrassing holding that :L

    ReplyDelete
  153. how am i gonna hold that.........?

    ReplyDelete
  154. Looks like shit!! oh well i drink DP

    ReplyDelete
  155. don be that evil people. even though this bottle looks like shit, at least it will help us save the earth. or would u guys rather have our earth even closer to death?

    ReplyDelete
  156. That is stupid as hell.

    ReplyDelete
  157. emm... consider the sharp edges... isn't it dangerous to small children when they play with it(eg. toss the bottle up, kick the bottle as a soccer ball)??

well, if you ask me, I would prefer the ORIGINAL design of the bottle than the new one(the one shown in this page)..

    ReplyDelete
  158. coke was famous for its original bottle design. now this crap comes out to save some money? pfffft. originality kicks ass over space saving crap

    ReplyDelete
  159. WHAT THE SHIT ITS COOL

    ReplyDelete
  160. looks like a medicine bottle......

    ReplyDelete
  161. Seems like fuel bottle. But I think it's good good.

    ReplyDelete
